This version of a DIY body wrap uses a homemade sugar scrub and then half an hour to work. To get started you need:
- 1 part coconut oil. Any oil will do if you don’t like the smell of the coconut oil.
- 2 parts sugar. Use fine granules, larger ones can tear the skin.
- 2 drops essential oil. This is optional. Choose a scent you enjoy. Some even specify they are good for detoxing the body.
- Clear plastic wrap. The brand or size are not relevant, just make sure you will have enough to cover the desired area with at least 2 layers of plastic wrap.
- A blanket or heating pad.
CLAY BODY WRAP
- Green clay – 2 cups
- Sea salt – (1/2) cup
- Olive oil – 4 tablespoons
- Water – 4 cups
At first, boil the water and dissolve the sea salt in it. Now, put the green clay and the olive oil in the salt and stir until a moderate paste is formed. Spread this paste all over your skin, which has developed cellulite. Covering it with wrapping sheets will make your task even easier. After 50 to 60 minutes, remove the wraps. You can skip the olive oil while preparing this body wrap at your home.
